Club Tee Update
posted on: 18 July 2007
We want to inform all bowlers that we had placed the orders for the club tee today. Ryan and Elisha went to the supplier's shop and made a change of the shirt design. It will no longer be the one shown in the previous post but the new design is still dri-fit but is of a better quality and thus, there is an increase in the cost. Each piece now cost $20 instead of $15.
Sizes of the shirt remains the same measurement even with the change.
The shirt will be maroon in colour, come with a collar and buttons. See picture below:
We had only order a minimum number of extra pieces for the following sizes: S , M & L.
For those who still yet to give us your order, please do so as soon as possible as this is your last chance to place your orders. Once a confirmation was done after viewing the embroidery sample, we will not be able to entertain your request.
Payment can be done at the clubroom with effect from tomorrow onwards during lunch break. The faster the payment is collected, the faster the shirt will arrive. The supplier said he could rush out for us and the earliest will see all of you wearing the shirt this coming Monday's training if all payment can be collected by this Friday, 20 July.
Thank you!

Club Tee
posted on: 13 July 2007
We apologise for the delay in getting all bowlers the club tee. We had found a good supplier and hence decide to go ahead.
The cost of the shirt will be
$15 per piece. Picture below shows the design that the club tee will look like.
The material is dri-fit. Singapore Polytechnic's crest will be embroided on the left side of the chest with 'Singapore Polytechnic' also embroided just below it. On the back, the phrase 'SP Bowlers' will be embroided near the top.
Sizes are as follows: XS - 36, S - 38, M - 40, L - 42, XL - 44, XXL - 46
As the supplier could not provide us sample sizes, here's a way to measure it yourself.
- Take a shirt that you are most comfortable with or you always wear it for bowling
- Lay it flat and use a measuring tape to measure across the chest just below the armpit
- Take note of the measurement and times 2. (e.g. if its 18 inches, times 2 gives you 36, so you are wearing a XS)
*Note: Custom shirts comes in 1 or 2 inches bigger.
The committee is going to ask for your sizes and order this coming Monday at training. For those could not attend the training due to valid reason, please kindly email your name & shirt size to spbowlersclub@gmail.com. Please do not delay as we want to give all bowlers the shirt as soon as possible.

Bus Charter / Training Matters
posted on: 06 July 2007
Hi all,
Please be informed that Ryan had already confirm the bus charter with the bus company. The arrangement is as follows:
Pickup Point: Car Park @ FC5 / Staff Centre
Departure Time: 6.00pm sharp
Cost per bowler: $1.00 - $1.50 (TBA on Monday)This is a one-way charter therefore, there is
no return trip back to Singapore Polytechnic or any other locations.
As there is only one bus chartered, the seats will be
limited to the first 35 - 40 bowlers. As of current, there are already 30 bowlers on my list. If you still wish to take the charter, please do inform Ryan as soon as possible. Those who had given him their names are already confirmed of your place, but if you decided against taking the charter, please do let Ryan know also.
We also want to make all aware that there will be
no increase of cost to the current training fee despite the increase of GST to 7% and temporary change of training venue.
And for those waiting for the bus charter who had their lessons ended early on Monday, please feel free to make your way to the clubroom to relax and chill. The committee hoped that we had delivered to serve all fellow bowlers with the best they can. See you all on Monday.

Bus Charter to Safra Mount Faber
posted on: 04 July 2007
Hi all,
I tried my best to get subsidy from school but it was rejected. Though it was not successful, but I felt that the bus charter plan had to go ahead.
I had already got in touch with a bus company and the price is reasonable enough. Therefore,
each bowler will pay $1.50 for the charter service from Singapore Polytechnic to Safra Mount Faber.
The bus will leave at 6pm promptly and the waiting area will be at the carpark in front of SAA and beside Moberly Block.
For those who had put down your names, I would like to ask if I can proceed with the confirmation of the charter with the company. Please leave a short reply at the tagboard.
Thank you.

Relocation of July/Early August Trainings
posted on: 02 July 2007
All bowlers, please be informed that
our trainings had to be relocated to Safra Mount Faber from next Monday onwards as SBF had extend their trainings' time to 8pm making it impossible for us to train at SPGG anymore in the month of July.
Our trainings at Mount Faber will start at
6.30pm to 8.30pm.
We are very pleased with the response shown by all club bowlers present at training today for agreeing on the relocation plan. Currently, we will be looking into the possibility of chartering the bus for free to all those that had written down their names. As we still yet to confirm it, we do really hope that it will be taken into consideration by the school.
Once again, thank you for your kind understanding and support. Please do stay around to find out on the busing service updates.
